July 26, 2023 at 10:55 AM / by Brianna Morley

Render Impact is honored to have attended and participated in InfoComm 2023 in Orlando, Florida. As one of the leading audiovisual trade shows in the country, InfoComm brought together 30,000 attendees and professionals from across the industry, providing the opportunity to connect with other individuals who share a passion for creating immersive and engaging experiences.

Our team had the privilege of working with a number of partner companies on the trade show floor, where we presented our attention-grabbing content for their LED booth displays of all shapes, sizes and pixel pitches. In addition to creating content that was featured across the floor, we were selected to create a unique, immersive 3D content experience for the massive LED volume at Vu Studios (155-foot wide by 26-foot high; over 18,000 pixels wide by 3,000 pixels high) at the Sixteen:Nine + AVIXA mixer.

InfoComm provided our team with the opportunity to showcase our ability to create a variety of high impact content styles that are tailored to the unique needs of each client. Our team is dedicated to helping businesses stand out from the competition by creating visually stunning and interactive content that will leave a lasting impression for years to come!

Collaborating With Our Partners

PixelFLEX

PixelFLEX is a renowned company that specializes in providing innovative LED video display solutions that are designed to enhance the visual experience. With a team of experts in LED technology, digital media, and the entertainment industry, PixelFLEX has revolutionized the way that LED displays are used in events, venues, and installations across the globe.

PixelFLEX's booth was a visual treat for attendees, showcasing a diverse range of LED screens. The corner display had a particularly noteworthy design with a 2.5mm pixel pitch and 864x768 resolution. Other displays included screens of various sizes such as 3840x2160 (1.2mm pixel pitch), a 1440x1920 (2.6mm pixel pitch), and a 1536x1296 FLEX Ultra screen. However, the screen that could be spotted from many booths away was the unique 2048x384 FLEXClear semi-transparent LED located above the booth with each side measuring 1024x384.

Our team utilized our creativity to develop unique, M&M’s-inspired forced perspective 3D content that was displayed on the corner LED display. The content showcased a mesmerizing glass jar that filled with M&M’s before shattering, as PixelFLEX's logo came crashing down onto the jar. Additionally, PixelFLEX's corner display featured abstract bouncing “soft-body” orbs and sloshing liquid paint contained in a 3D box.

The 3840x2160 (1.2mm pixel pitch) screen displayed our unique Render Impact forced perspective logo animation, a serene sunset sailboat scene created in UnReal, and a forced perspective illusion with color-changing cubes. PixelFLEX's 1440x1920 portrait screen (2.6mm pixel pitch) showcased a stunning animation of a realistic giraffe that appeared to poke its head out of the screen, taking in its surroundings.

Finally, PixelFLEX showcased a stunning 2048x384 FLEXClear semi-transparent LED screen hanging above their booth. With each side measuring 1024x384, this screen displayed 3D content with both company logos moving around harmoniously, both seemingly suspended in space against a semi-transparent black background.

Analog Way

Analog Way is a trusted designer and manufacturer of innovative image processing systems. Their products are known for their reliability, user-friendly interfaces, and advanced features that enable users to create stunning visual displays.

Through close collaboration with Analog Way, we were able to expertly create and handpick a collection of content that took advantage of the impressive 4K, 1.2mm pixel pitch SNA display LED video wall in their booth. The stunning visuals that displayed on the screen included a photorealistic aquarium scene, a rendition of The Scream composition by Edvard Munch brought to life as a forced perspective living art piece, an awe-inspiring 3D spaceship animation, a futuristic alien landscape that appeared to freeze over right before your very eyes, and an unique display of forced perspective cubes bouncing around inside a contained box.

Nanolumens

Nanolumens is a leader in manufacturing LED display solutions, offering a range of products from small indoor screens to giant outdoor displays. With a strong focus on innovation and customer satisfaction, Nanolumens has become a trusted name in the display industry.

Nanolumens’ booth had a number of innovative, fine-pitch direct view LED displays including three tower displays using their Engage and Engage NXT products. One of the towers had a 0.9mm pixel pitch with a native resolution of 1280x3600 and the other two had a 1.2mm pixel pitch and resolution of 960x2700. Our team was thrilled to provide content for these unique LED media tower displays. The content consisted of a majestic waterfall set on a mountainside, an abstract art piece brought to life as a forced perspective illusion and another 3D illusion of card suits floating around in a box that appeared to pop off the screen at times.

7thSense

7thSense specializes in creating advanced media servers for various industries such as theme parks, museums, and live events. They have developed a range of products that can manage and display high-quality content across multiple displays and formats.

We worked with 7th Sense to create dynamic content that was projected onto the surface of a unique 3D object using their Reactive Projection Mapping application. This cutting-edge application allows media to be projected onto moving 3D objects and updates the position of the media at a very high frame rate using low latency camera position tracking. They are tracking and projection mapping at up to 240 frames per second, using multiple projectors – keeping the media locked to the object as it moves around freely in a 3D space.

Unilumin is a leading LED display and solution provider that offers a wide range of products and services for various industries such as broadcast, advertising, control rooms, sports, and more. Unilumin's LED displays are known for their stunning visuals, vibrant colors, and energy efficiency, making them an ideal choice for businesses looking to enhance their brand image and connect with their audience in a dynamic way.

Unilumin showcased an impressive range of screens, featuring multiple sizes throughout their booth. These included landscape displays measuring 1920x1080 and 1280x640, and portrait displays measuring 576x1152 and 960x2160, as well as captivating LED cubes that measured 192x192. To further enhance the visual experience, Render Impact worked closely with Unilumin to curate content that perfectly complemented each unique display size.

Our team took great care in selecting the most fitting content for each of Unilumin's LED screens on display. The 1920x1080 landscape screen was used to showcase an array of visually stunning animations, including our original forced perspective alien landscape, our Render Impact forced perspective logo animation, a breathtaking sunset scene featuring a passing sailboat, and a forced perspective art gallery. We utilized the 1280x640 landscape screen to showcase additional visuals, such as our WOW-factor spaceship animation, the previously mentioned sailboat scene, and our unique forced perspective, living art version of The Scream.

Additionally, Unilumin's booth featured two portrait screens, which we carefully selected content for. The first screen, measuring 576x1152, showcased a stunning 3D watch animation. The second screen, sized at 960x2160, captivated viewers with a variety of animations. A slow-growing ivy creeped upwards on a stone background, a playful Tetris animation entertained the crowd, and an eternal sunset featuring endless rolling hills. The screen also highlighted a compelling animation, where an image became displaced and moved about in a 3D space before returning to its original state.
